These two little 18 year old babies met on the 4th of November 2017, after a mutual friend brought Tahlia to Brodies house for an intimate gathering of friends. This mutual friend had originally intended to set Tahlia up with one of Brodies good friends but as soon as Tahlia laid eyes on the goofy (drunk) Brodie she told her friend “Hey don’t say anything but Brodie is cute” she did in fact say something to Brodie because the next day Brodie messaged her. The texts went back and forth for a few days before Tahlia said that she was going to the beach the next day and invited Brodie. Little did Brodie know Tahlia was meant to actually be at school. The pair went to the beach and messed around the entire day before Tahlia headed home. Tahlia was smitten and wanted to see Brodie more and more so Tahlia being the cheeky girl she is told her parents she was working but instead she went out to see him. The pair were inseparable and just 7 days after meeting Tahlia turned around and said “so are you going to ask me out yet?” And now the rest is history.

Now this story starts on the 23rd of December 2022, Brodie asked Tahlia to go out for breakfast the next day and of course she said yes. The next day the pair woke up and Tahlia realised she has woken up with tonsillitis, Brodie walks in and asks Tahlia “Wanna go to the beach” to which Tahlia replies “uh no I’m sick” Brodie continues to persuade Tahlia and off they go. As they walk on to the beach Tahlia is a grumpy cow. As Tahlia gets ready to head into the water she turns to her left and there Brodie is on one knee popping the question! Apparently getting proposed to reduces the effects of tonsillitis because Tahlia is jumping for joy!
